Furry companions can help comfort, distract, or make you laugh. Do you have a pet? Tell us about them (and share a pic, if they're not camera shy!) For many living with ATTR, these companions can make a big difference.
This is Bailey, a Labordoodle that is my go-to pick me up friend. I'm talking to her all the time so much that I believe she is learning a bit of English. Ok, not really but she does understand my feelings and emotions, like all you pet owner's experience. This is how I fill my days, and I hope that you all have a companion that does the same for you .

I am a cat person. I foster cats too. I currently have three cats. One I adopted, and two foster fails, that bonded with each other. I get joy out of giving a cat, TLC, then can move on to another home. My cats are Blaze, Sassy and Capri. I love what I do.

We have 2 very cute and intelligent bernedoodles from the same litter. They are Snicker and Doodle. They are great support and cuddle with me when I feel down.
