I was unexpectedly diagnosed with the wild type Amyladosis in 2017; and given two years to live being 85 years old. They put me on Vidamax prescription; and am still able to get around fine after nine years.
My 84 year mother was diagnosed by her second cardiologist who is a spealist in cardiology. But he is not doing any treatment because of her a age and saids the medication to treat Amyloidosis for ATTR-CM to strong.

Hi , how do you feel about that? How does your mom feel about it? I think the knee-jerk reaction would be resistance to the idea of not using an available treatment. - Warmly, Donna (Tam Member)

I am 76. I found out 3 years ago. Medication is keeping progression at bay.

, I'm glad to hear that your treatment plan has slowed progression. How are you feeling? - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)
